so i found out today that my parents have been planning for the day i move out for over a year. They are so prepared and excited that they have been making me a a box of stuff that I will need to move out. It contains a tooth brush, pans, pots, etc. I told my parents that we should go dorm shopping today and to my surpass they already had all of this ready for me. I don’t know if i should be happy they they cared, or be upset because they were so excited for me to move out…

This transition from child living with parents to living alone buying my own toilet paper and garbage bags is really crazy. I am moving out in about a month and it seems like time is just flying by me. I will be moving into an apartment with 3 girls I have never met and will be living without the ever stocked fridge, the ever abundant toilet paper, and the automated dish washing machine. I am leaving behind my purple painted walls, my ‘spot’ on the couch, and my spinny desk chair. goodbye high school hello university…
